wind turbine Whisper 100 operating at full power!

January 9, 2009 in Alternative Energy Tags: , , , , ,

All videos are producing, making & uploading with energy, generated by our Whisper-100 windturbine.
=========================================

Because the wind does not blow constantly, the actual power output of any wind turbine is generally lower (generally 25 to 40%) of its rated capacity. In our case it could be 250-400 W or even smaller for small wind turbines.
But this day is increadable.
Calcualted for a 12 hours,
our turbine shows a 90-95% capacity factor, when we upload this video.
Will see the result for whole day…
Untill 3:00 night time 21-4-2008

2 days before we fixed ppm of 995 W!
Stay turn to see how it was….
Next video with this event is comming.

    Solar water heating works well here too in the summer - saves running the boiler just to heat the hot water tank. Domestic solar and large scale wind will work well together.

    Wind power in Greece is good.
    But from our experience (we have PVs also)
    Photovoltaic is better here.
    PVs forwever!

    OOPs, I meant wind power!:-)

    Whisper quiet -noise?? you don’t know the half of it!!! Check out this Nuke power plant carrying out its regular siren testing, see NHEQaXqaIv4, it does this regularly!!! And anyway, why does it need a siren, is it to warn everyone to run for their lives when it all starts to go wrong!! Give me power any day!!
