Feedsolar powered tesla coil

This Tesla coil is powered by the sun. The solar panel provides the source of DC current. It then is converted through an induction coil sending the high frequency/high voltage current through a tank circuit that powers up a Tesla sending coil.
This Tesla system was built to explore the use of the Sun’s solar radiant energy as a source of usable sending power. On a small scale I would say it works.

Yes there is much to explore and realize as we learn to live in conjunction with nature. It’s only a matter of time before we harness these powerful forces. Lets hope in the birthing of a new technology systems it won’t carry the taint of our warring attitude, this will only lead to the total collapse of our “civilization.”

I have heard the potential of energy from your feet to the top of your head is @ 2000 volts+- milliamps. The higher you go… the greater the electrical potential, its a matter of creating a pathway for it to flow.

That is a really neat demonstration. It is rare you see a Telsa Coil used in this fashion. What kind of range are you getting with receiver?
