if your just someone who wants to experiment, yo can just go to your nearby electronics store and buy a cheap solar pannel.
I got mine from Fry’s Electronics for about 11 dollars.

Yeah and Obama wants to bankrupt the coal industry and let man made global warming fuel tax go into effect that will make fuel prices go all the way up to atleast $9 without even trying, just like in Europe.

Imagine if we had solar panels on just half the roof tops in America. We wouldn’t need power plants anymore! The sun shines on most of the continental US most of the time so, a nation-wide power grid would get all the energy it needs all year long just from sunshine.

and it is NOT cheap!! solar panels have come down a lot in price…but are still very pricey for the average person.

This video is about pre-made panels, however, if you use a DIY kit to install the solar panels and/or Wind turbines, you can set up your own system for less than a hundred bucks

Warning. This is a rip-off. Their claims are impossible. Anyone commenting here that it does work and can be made that cheaply is in on the scam.
