The goal of converting 20% of America’s electrical power needs to wind energy was the subject of a recent briefing on Capitol Hill. Reaching the goal would mean many changes in the way electrical power is generated and distributed, but experts see savings in lower fuel costs and lowering greenhouse gases. One of those who spoke at the briefing was Steve Lindenberg of the U.S. Department of Energy.
